THE IMPACT SOUND INSULATED SOUND ISOBOX FOR THE TRANSMISSION OF SHEAR FORCES

The Sound ISOBOX TSB is versatile and particularly suitable for connecting landings made of in-situ concrete or as precast elements to staircase walls of any construction type. The system can be individually extended with bearing elements for loads in up to three directions. The type- tested box only requires a reinforcement cage within a corbel and no additional built-in parts.

Types

Schall-ISOBOX TSB-BK (Bewehrungskorb)

The Sound ISOBOX TSB-BK is a reinforcement cage, welded in accordance with type testing. This cage can be used for both Sound ISOBOX variants (TSB-F and TSB-MB).

Schall-ISOBOX TSB-F

The Sound ISOBOX TSB-F has been developed for use in precast elements that already include concrete corbels. Once the concrete elements have been completed, the Sound ISOBOX is slid over the corbel like a sleeve. The Sound ISOBOX can be customised with bearing elements for different load directions according to the requirements of the structure.
The F01 version only has a compression bearing at the bottom to transfer positive shear forces to the walls. If negative shear forces can also occur, version F02 should be used. Additional horizontal forces in the system are transferred to the staircase wall with type F03. During installation, it must be ensured that the Sound ISOBOX TSB is flush with the staircase wall.

Schall-ISOBOX TSB-MB

The Sound ISOBOX TSB-MB is designed for installation on site. Thanks to the integrated mounting plate, it can be attached directly to the formwork of the staircase walls. The compression-resistant
filling protects the Sound ISOBOX during concreting. This variant of the Sound ISOBOX can be used as permanent formwork or, as with the TSB-F type, can be slid over a concrete corbel (after removing the filler). The Sound ISOBOX can be customised with bearing elements for different load directions according to the requirements of the structure.

The MB01 version has only one compression bearing at the bottom to transfer positive shear forces to the walls. If negative shear forces can also occur, it is recommended to use the MB02 version. Additional horizontal forces in the system are transferred to the staircase wall with type MB03.
