PRODUCTS FOR THE ACOUSTIC DECOUPLING OF THE STAIR FLIGHT

The impact sound insulation panels allow the acoustic separation of stair flights or landings with continuous corbels (half joints). The concrete elements can be made of in-situ concrete or as precast elements. The impact sound insulation panels can be easily adapted to different geometric shapes of the concrete elements by cutting them on site.

Application

IMPACT SOUND PANELS, STAIR DOWEL and STAIR BASE DOWEL

Types

IMPACT SOUND PANEL TYPE NF
The Impact Sound Insulation Panel Type NF is used for the acoustic separation of stair flights or landings with continuous corbels (half joints). The concrete elements can be made of in-situ concrete or as precast elements. The impact sound insulation panel can be easily adapted to different geometric shapes of the stair base by cutting on site. The special type NF-VH can also transfer regular horizontal loads.

IMPACT SOUND PANEL TYPE NB
The Impact Sound Insulation Panel Type NB is used for the acoustic decoupling of a stair base or a landing from the ground slab. The impact sound insulation panel can be easily adapted to different geometric shapes of the stair base by cutting on site. The element to be separated can be made of in-situ concrete or as a precast element.

IMPACT SOUND PANEL TYPE NL
The Impact Sound Insulation Panel Type NL is used to form a joint without any acoustic coupling between stairs or landings and the staircase walls. The concrete elements can be made of in-situ concrete or as precast members. The panels are self-adhesive and consist of PE foam panels without any load-bearing capacity. The impact sound insulation panel can be easily adapted to different stair shapes by cutting on-site.

STAIR DOWEL PD
The Stair Dowel PD serves both to ensure the location of a concrete element within a structure and for acoustic separation at the stair base. The dowel can be used in precast and in-situ concrete stairs and is available in a galvanised version as well as a stainless steel version.

STAIR BASE ANGLE TYPE PD-H
The Stair Base Angle ensures the position of concrete elements that need to be acoustically separated. The angles are attached to the bottom of a stair to provide support against horizontal actions.

Installation / Placement

To ensure optimum impact sound insulation within a staircase system, all connections must be made correctly. When installing a flight of stairs, care must be taken to create a closed sound insulation system that completely encloses the component to be acoustically decoupled. The impact sound insulation panels form a circumferential unit to prevent sound transmission, while the
stair dowel or stair base angle ensures the position.
