Lattice girders with German technical approval by DIBt (abZ)

The lattice girders with German national technical approval by the DIBt (abZ) include the ALD lattice girders for precast half slabs with structurally contributing in-situ concrete layer and the ALW lattice girders for concrete walls. There is also a German national technical approval by the DIBt for the ALS shear lattice girders (for more information, click here>>).

Girders with German technical approval

Composition

Lattice girders^GT are three-dimensional, industrially prefabricated reinforcing elements. They consist of an upper chord, two lower chords, and continuous diagonal truss wires. Truss wires are connected to the chords by means of electric resistance welding. All girder types are available at short notice if ordered in the appropriate minimum quantities (approx. 10 t).

The following dimensions are possible for girders according to the German technical approval (abZ):

Girder height H: 70–400 mm
Upper chord d3: 6–14 mm
Lower chord d1: 5–14 mm
Diagonals d2: 5–8 mm
Step of diagonals a: 200 mm
Width of lower chord ba: approx. 80 mm
Delivery lengths: Standard lengths 12–14 m or fixed lengths in 100 mm increments.
